Computing R&D Support
The LCF research and engineering mission is focused on developing a whole new computational stack based on indefinitely scalable computer architectures and robust-first, best-effort computing. That is a big, hard job, and so far we are few. But day by day we are working toward a future of more robust and resilient — and decentralized and distributed — computational systems and societies.
If you are a software developer or a computer scientist or engineer or in related areas, and you might want to get involved, we welcome your interest! The technical work needed takes not just traditional computing skills but also the ability to think far beyond rigid and top-down deterministic computational models.
